Free Pattern: Number 2 Applique (3 inches)


Find the rest of the numbers here.

To make a smaller 2, use sport weight yarn or thread.  To make it bigger, use two strands of yarn together.


Supplies:
Small amount worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart cotton)
5mm (H/8) hook
Opt yarn needle for sewing applique on

Abbreviations:
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Sc 3 tog - single crochet 3 together (pull up a loop in each st, yo, pull through all loops on hook)

Instructions (written one line for each stitch):
Ch 19
sc in second ch from hook
sc
sc
skip one ch
3sctog
skip one ch
sc
sc
sc
sc
sc
2 sc in next ch
2 sc in next ch
2 sc in next ch
2 sc in next ch
sc
Finish off with a long tail for sewing.  Weave in short end.  Use tail to sew on.
